TCP has file check integrity. UDP works like a broadcast. it doesn’t care whether you got everything correctly or not. it’s just a one way stream. it’s “faster” because it doesn’t care. live streams are typically udp, but if you need to make sure everything you receive is correct, you need to use tcp.
